The Wetlands at Serenity

Working in partnership with the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority, the PMC-Foundation has created the new wetlands on the south-east corner of Serenity Nature Reserve. This is in keeping with the Foundation’s mandate of preserving our natural environments and restoring the agricultural land back to its original state. The pond will attract wildlife, birds and butterflies as part of their natural migration pattern north and south during the year. Eagles have been spotted flying overhead and there have been sightings of deer tracks leading into the pond.
