The Wetlands at Serenity
The PMC-Foundation has created the new wetlands on the south-east corner of Serenity Nature Reserve, working in partnership with the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority. The pond will attract wildlife, birds and butterflies as part of their natural migration pattern north and south during the year.
Better Quality of Life
Doctors in Halton can now prescribe nature 'to help people have a better quality of life'. Both Solitude and Serenity Nature Reserves offer this without a prescription. They are like Walk in clinics open and accessible everyday.
Serenity Nature Reserve
Our latest addition to the Foundation, was purchased in late 2023. During the month of February and most of April, a tireless group of volunteers from the Grand Bend Pickleball Club, volunteered to clear out tree-stumps, etc.
Solitude Nature Reserve
Available for day use from dawn to dusk, for walking on the trails within the woods or having a picnic lunch by the pond. Also available for overnight camping. Each campsite has a tent platform, picnic table, fire pit and composting toilet.
